Using ArtRage on a Surface Pro to create some digital art!

A spiderman but with the essence of venom, another one of my original superhero paintings but with a hybrid tweak. Extensive use of combining some of my old paintings and the warp tool. This painting took me quite a while as I couldn’t quite get the tonal brightness quite right, I think I learnt a lot from the Mummy art I had finished before and really worked hard to bring the main character to the forefront.

Another superhero and again I wanted to create my own version, so initially I collected a multitude of reference and then felt my way through the process. The warp tool came in very handy here regarding the shaped of the tongue, which was surprisingly difficult to get right. To achieve the 3d effect of the tongue I adapted a sticker spray brush that image stamped a 3d symbol with a small gap and then applied the palette knife to smooth things together.
